Great machine for price

I've just replaced a 47 year old Frister & Rossman with this machine. I chose it as I have a Jaguar 2015 overlocker and was impressed with that. I'm not disappointed! I've only had the machine a week but I love it. Very easy to thread, winding and loading the bobbin is a breeze. It's all self explanatory with a good guide. I'd recommend this machine for beginners or seasoned sewers. Lots of free extras are always a nice bonus!

Review

Really good machine, lost the last star as the automatic needle threader fell off. The extra feet attachments and the patterns make up for this, I would still recommend the machine.

Nice machine

Nice sewing machine, a little bit fidderly to thread cotton around the two hooks at the top of the needle but apart from that, all good. Fantastic selection of stitches. Good to have the extras, extension table, lovely selection of cotton, scissors and extra feet. Had an issue with the cable when I received the machine but emailed The Ironing Press Company and they called me straight back and send another one out which arrived the next day, fantastic service. Would definitely recommend

Purchased 10 of these for our ladies' sewing club, and would really recommend the Jaguar HD-696 to anyone, a real easy to use, beautiful machine. Button holing is a breeze. They came with full, clear instructions that everyone was able to follow. Even 80 year olds found the machine to be easy to use. Top quality product, everyone can sew really easily with these machines, so well worth the money. Very pleased with our purchases.
